About Us
NSMaritime is a UAE based company engaged in providing maritime services internationally. Our expertise ranges from arranging and providing sea marshals for commercial and fishing vessels and related services, Arranging of sea/air transport for crew changes of International sea farers and international land security services.
We strive to maintain the status of ‘market leader’ in our quality of products and services since all our troops are ex-servicemen from the Sri Lanka armed forces, most with over 12 years of service. Most guards are from the Special Forces/Infantry Oriented, and a majority of the professionals have international experience. All our personnel are capable of communicating in English and medically fit having ‘Fit for Everywhere’ certificate from qualified and approved medics. Furthermore, they are qualified and experienced in Counter Terrorism operations, while capable and willing to operate overseas for long periods at a stretch.

Cdr. Anura Ariyaratne
RSP, psc, COO, Red Sea Operations
Cdr. Anura Ariyaratne, RSP, psc, formerly of rank Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy specialized in clearance diving.
Cdr Anura Ariyaratne joined the Navy as a cadet at the prestigious Sir John Kotalawela
University & Defence Academy, Colombo, and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering). He completed his Master of Science in Maritime at Bahria University, Islamabad, Pakistan, and is presently reading for Master of Science in Management at Sir John Kotalawela University. He is a qualified clearance diver having followed the arduous course with the Indian Navy in Kochi, India.
During his tenure in the Navy, he completed his ‘Staff Course’ at Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore, ‘Supervisory Underwater Diving Course’ with Pakistan Navy at Karachi, Pakistan, ‘Reactivation Program’ in US Coastguard Ship Courageous in USA, ‘Tactical Boat and Small Boat Operations Course’ in the US Navy in Norfolk, USA, ‘Maritime and Humanitarian Law Course’ conducted by the British Royal Navy, and ‘Explosive Ordinance Disposal Course’ conducted by the US Navy.
He also is trained in ISO 9001-2000 standard and preparation of Quality Manual and Internal Auditing at Sri Lanka Standards Institute, and completed Human Resource Management Course at Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) and General Management Course at SLIDA.
Capt. Sanjaya Dahanayake
Captain (TAS) CS Dahanayake joined the Regular Naval force on 01st August 1988 and completed basic training and completed basic training and Sub lieutenant’s Technical course at Naval Maritime Academy in Trincomalee. Officer did his specialization course in Torpedo and Anti – Submarine Warfare in Pakistan Navy.
During the 24 years long naval career officer performed duties in various capacities. And officers has commanded many sea units of Sri Lanka Navy. Further to above, He has held some important appointments such as staff officer duties at Naval head Quarters, and also he has performed duties as the “Flag lieutenant and personal Security Officer to the Commander of the Navy flag lieutenant to Chief of Defence staff and finally officer hold a specialized appointment as Provost Marshal, who is responsible to maintain discipline of the Naval Personnel.
Captain CS Dahanayake has successfully completed the training courses pertaining to his profession conducted by India, Pakistan, United State of America and United Kingdom Navy. And he retired from Sri Lanka navy on 02nd January 2013.

Mr. Ameer Mahroof is a well experienced Attorney-at-Law with a demonstrated history of working in the legal services industry, especially in the fields of Commercial, Maritime, and Sports Law, experience in Captial Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Insolvency related matters.
His expertise ranging to dispute resolution, negotiation, legal writing, and strategic planning.
He has a Master of Laws (LLM) focused in International Commercial Law where he has comprehensively covered Laws on International Business Structures, International Commercial Arbitration & Mediation, International Commercial Law and Legal aspects of International Finance from the University of West London. He has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom. Further he is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom.

Crew changes are vital to prevent fatigue and protect seafarers’ health, safety and wellbeing – thereby ensuring the safe operation of maritime trade. They cannot be postponed indefinitely.
Our services comprise of arranging alternative charter transport, sorting visa issues, flights via multiple ports and hotel accommodation etc facilitating crew repatriation and replacement.
Arranging Sea Marshals for Fishing/Commercial Vessels Protection
- Ensure security and safety of Fishing/commercial Vessels against sea piracy in high risk areas especially in Arabian Sea / Malacca / Galle
